Review Case Reports[Development of Sweet syndrome in an acute promyelocyte leukemia patient during treatment with all-trans retinoic acid--case report and literature review].
To identify the side effect of all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA), and improve early therapeutic response in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). ⋯ Sweet's syndrome is a rare adverse effect of ATRA, and has similar features with inflammatory or infective dermatosis. The corticosteroids treatment could improve the systemic and cutaneous symptoms. When ATRA therapy was restarted after SS subsided, no recurrence of rashes was observed.

To evaluate the value of serum galactomannan (GM) detection for diagnosis of invasive aspergillosis (IA) in hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients. ⋯ The PADSELISA for GM detection is a reliable method for early diagnosis and treatment of IA in hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients.

[Influence factors of reconstitution of killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor on NK cells following non-T-cell-depleted haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation].
To explore the influence factors of reconstitution of killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor (KIR) on NK cells in the early stage after non-T cells depletion (non-TCD) HLA-mismatched hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). ⋯ Both of the T cells in the allograft and the occurrence of GVHD in the early stage after transplantation delayed the recovery of KIR on NK cells.

[Effects of N, N-di-(m-methylphenyl)-3, 6-dimethyl-1, 4-dihydro-1,2,4, 5-tetrazine-1,4-dicarboxamide (ZGDhu-1) on SHI-1 leukemia cells in vitro].
To study the effect of ZGDHu-1 on proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis in SHI-1 human leukemia cell line and explore its possible mechanism. Methods SHI-1 cells were cultured with different concentration of ZGDHu-1 and for different time. The cell proliferation was analysed by cell counting, alive cell count, MTT assay and Brdu-ELISA. Cell apoptosis was analysed by morphology, DNA content, Annexin-V/PI and Hoechst 33258 labeling method. Cell differentiation were assayed by morphology,expression of CD11b,CD14 and CD64 and NBT reduction. The expressions of phosphorylated p38MAPK or STAT3 were analysed by flow cytometry. ⋯ ZGDHu-1 can inhibit SHI-1 cell proliferation and induce the cell differentiation and apoptosis. The mechanism may associate with its up-regulation of phosphor-p38MAPK and down-regulation phosphor-STAT3.

[Mesenchymal stem cells from human cord blood promote engraftment of human umbilical cord blood-derived CD34+ cells in NOD/SCID mice].
To explore whether the co-transplantation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) from human umbilical cord blood (UCB) with UCB-derived CD34(+) cells in NOD/SCID mice could promote engraftment and accelerate hematopoiesis recovery. ⋯ (1) In low dosage transplantation, human UCB MSC could promote human CD34(+) cells engraftment in transplanted mice. (2) Co-transplantation of human UCB MSC and human UCB CD34(+) cells could significantly promote the hematopoiesis reconstitution and improve the survival rate of NOD/SCID mice. (3) MSC could promote human UCB CD34(+) cells to differentiated into B-lymphocytes, granulocyte and megakaryocyte in vivo.
