The aim of this study was to delineate the reconstructive endovascular treatment and periprocedural management of compensative-flow-related posterior circulation aneurysms with anterior circulation artery occlusion. ⋯ Our study indicates that reconstructive endovascular treatments are feasible and effective strategies for compensative-flow-related posterior circulation aneurysms with anterior circulation artery occlusion. However, these treatments are associated with a risk of periprocedural ischemic complications, which can be reduced by collateral arterial assessment, appropriate periprocedural anesthesia management, and antiplatelet treatment.

This study compared the efficacy of cutting of the intersphincteric space (COIS) with cutting seton (CS) procedure in treating high anal fistula. ⋯ In comparison to the CS procedure, COIS appears to be an effective treatment option for high anal fistulas, offering quicker wound healing time, enhanced sphincter function, less pain, minimal invasiveness, and cost-efficiency, while maintaining a high healing rate and low recurrence rate.

Most research to understand postacute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC), or long COVID, has focused on adults, with less known about this complex condition in children. Research is needed to characterize pediatric PASC to enable studies of underlying mechanisms that will guide future treatment. ⋯ This study developed research indices for characterizing PASC in children and adolescents. Symptom patterns were similar but distinguishable between the 2 groups, highlighting the importance of characterizing PASC separately for these age ranges.

Ivonescimab Plus Chemotherapy in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer With EGFR Variant: A Randomized Clinical Trial.
For patients with non-small cell lung cancer whose disease progressed while receiving EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR-TKI) therapy, particularly third-generation TKIs, optimal treatment options remain limited. ⋯ Ivonescimab plus chemotherapy significantly improved progression-free survival with tolerable safety profile in TKI-treated non-small cell lung cancer.
