Monitoring of antibody levels in healthcare workers after inactivated coronavirus disease 19 vaccination.
Because of the coronavirus disease 19 pandemic, studies on vaccination are being conducted in our country as well as across the world. In this study, the antibody levels in healthcare workers vaccinated with two doses of inactivated vaccine and the factors affecting these levels were investigated. ⋯ Vaccines are very important both to protect against coronavirus disease 19 and to experience only a mild form of the disease. Immunoglobulin class G levels formed after vaccination may be affected by many factors and may decrease over time.

The effect of COVID-19 fear on prenatal distress and childbirth preference in primipara.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of COVID-19 fear on prenatal distress and childbirth preference in primipara. ⋯ It was determined that fear of coronavirus increases prenatal distress. Women should be supported to cope with fear of COVID-19 and prenatal distress, both during the preconceptional and antenatal periods.

The impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 outbreak on decision-making styles and breastfeeding of pregnant women: a cross-sectional study.
This study was planned to examine the factors affecting the decision-making styles of pregnant women in the coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic, their choice of birth environment, and their decision to start breastfeeding. ⋯ The research findings show that situations such as epidemics affect the decisions of pregnant women, and breastfeeding situations and decision-making styles affect each other. For this reason, education programs and guides including guidance services and support systems should be published and pregnant women should be guided correctly.

Between 2020 and 2021, Mexico documented 2.21 million fatalities, out of which 25.3% were attributable to SARS-COV-2 infection. ⋯ In Mexico and the countries of the region, the pandemic was devastating and generated regressions in life expectancy at birth, which varied from two to nine years. It is not clear why the effect was so different between countries and within Mexico.
