he aim of our research is to prove, that the transplanted hepatocytes can survive and compensate for inadequate liver function in experimental animals. Thesis discusses the basic principles of hepatocyte transplantations, the process of their adaptation and effect on the organism as well as possibilities of their further use as a promising treatment method. In the experiment we used hepatocytes isolated and produced from explanted livers of laboratory rats. ⋯ Livers of all animals were explanted and sent for histopathological analysis which used classical histological methods. After evaluating the results we observed significant changes of evaluated laboratory levels in blood serum and weight in experimental animals after the transplantation of hepatocytes in comparison with the laboratory results of the control group of healthy animals and groups with liver damage without transplanted hepatocytes. The results of our experiment show that by biochemical and histological analysis we managed to clearly prove the function of transplanted hepatocytes in the model of laboratory rat with impaired liver function (Tab. 5, Fig. 17 , Ref. 17) Keywords: liver, transplantation, hepatocytes, liver tumors, resection of liver, liver failure, experiment.

The aim of the study is to evaluate the functional status and quality of life parameters of patients in the 1st and 6th months post-COVID and to determine contributing factors. ⋯ It was found that in the post-COVID period, the severity of the disease had a negative effect on functional measurements and quality of life; however, regardless of the severity of the disease, after six months improvements in radiological findings, effort capacity, and quality of life measures were noted (Tab. 2, Fig. 5, Ref. 20). This article's objectives are to develop a model to predict children's recovery of elbow function following supracondylar fracture, analyze the risk factors affecting those children's elbow function after surgery, and propose a individualized treatment strategy for elbow function in various children. We retrospectively analyzed clinical data from 410 children with supracondylar humerus fracture. A modeling set and a validation set of kids in the included studies were arbitrarily split into 2 groups on a 7:3 basis. ⋯ There were no significant changes in the afflicted limb's lateral difference, surgical method, onset season, and number of K-wires, according to univariate logistic regression analysis. Age (P < .001), weight (P < .001), height (P < .001), preoperative elbow soft tissue injury (OR = 1.724, 95% CI: 1.040-2.859, P = .035), sex (OR = 2.220, 95% CI: 1.299-3.794, P = .004), fracture classification (Gartland IIb) (OR = 0.252, 95% CI: 0.149-0.426, P < .001), no nerve injury before surgery (OR = 0.304, 95% CI: 0.155-0.596, P = .001), prying technique (OR = 0.464, 95% CI: 0.234-0.920, P = .028), postoperative daily light time > 2 hours (OR = 0.488, 95% CI: 0.249-0.955, P = .036) has a significant difference in univariate analysis; Multivariate regression analysis yielded independent risk factors: fracture classification; No nerve injury before surgery; The daily light duration after surgery was > 2 hours; soft tissue injury; Age, postoperative cast fixation time. The establishment of predictive model is of significance for pediatric orthopedic clinicians in the daily diagnosis and treatment of supracondylar humerus fracture.

To examine the impact of stepwise speech rehabilitation exercise therapy in the treatment of patients with Parkinson speech problems under psychological intervention on clinical results and cognitive functioning. Parkinson speech disorder patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group for training respectively. The control group used conventional nursing methods, including training in orofacial movement, vocalization, pitch, volume and breath control. ⋯ Both groups displayed an upward trend in their MMSE and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) when measuring cognitive function; the evaluation of P300, constructive function, and quality of life revealed this. The observation group P300 potential score was 0.13 points higher than that of the control group. The therapeutic training of stepped speech rehabilitation exercise care combined with psychological intervention has significant nursing effects on patients with Parkinson disease speech disorders, and the patients' cognitive functions have been effectively improved.

Virtual reality (VR)-based pulmonary rehabilitation has been used in the management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The efficacy of VR-based pulmonary rehabilitation for improving lung function in patients with COPD is controversial. Therefore, the aim of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the efficacy of VR combined with pulmonary rehabilitation for lung function in patients with COPD. ⋯ This meta-analysis indicated that VR regimens could be used to enhance the therapeutic effect of pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with COPD. However, as a rapidly evolving field, more well-designed randomized controlled trials are needed to determine the impact of VR-based pulmonary rehabilitation on COPD patients.
