Review Case Reports
Plasma cell myeloma initially diagnosed as light-chain deposition disease on liver biopsy: A case report and literature review.
Light-chain deposition disease (LCDD) is a rare condition characterized by the abnormal deposition of monoclonal light chains (LCs) in multiple organs, leading to progressive organ dysfunction. Herein, we report a case of plasma cell myeloma initially diagnosed as LCDD on liver biopsy performed for prominent cholestatic hepatitis. ⋯ This case demonstrates that LCDD may present with sudden cholestatic hepatitis and hepatomegaly, and may be fatal if patients do not receive appropriate and timely treatment because of delayed diagnosis. Liver biopsy is useful for the diagnosis of patients with liver disease of unknown etiology.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Effects of EEG burst suppression on cerebral oxygen metabolism and postoperative cognitive function in elderly surgical patients: A randomized clinical trial.
This randomized clinical trial determined the effects of electroencephalographic burst suppression on cerebral oxygen metabolism and postoperative cognitive function in elderly surgical patients. ⋯ In elderly patients undergoing surgery, intraoperative BS significantly reduced cerebral oxygen metabolism, which temporarily affected postoperative neurocognitive function.

CT-based analysis of posterior tibial slope in a Turkish population sample: A retrospective observational study.
Posterior tibial slope (PTS) is important for the success of high tibial osteotomy and unicondylar knee arthroplasty applications, as it provides anterior cruciate ligament function. In the literature, different studies have been carried out with various imaging methods to measure PTS in populations of different ethnic origins. In this study, it was aimed to detect PTS in the medial (MPTS) and lateral (LPTS) tibial condyles with computed tomography in a Turkish population sample and to compare the results between age groups (<65, ≥ 65), genders, sides, and literature data. ⋯ The midpoint method is a safe measurement method in computed tomography-based studies for the evaluation of PTS. Implant designs produces for different populations may not be suitable for the Turkish population. More comprehensive and detailed studies are needed to represent the Turkish population.

Our first goal is to understand the research status and popularity of telerehabilitation research for stroke survivors since 2012; the second goal is to analyze the research trends and frontiers in this field, and provide a scientific basis for the future application of telerehabilitation technology in patients with poststroke functional defects. We searched the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) for literature on telerehabilitation for stroke survivors published from 2012 to 2022. The included articles were visually analyzed using CiteSpace6.1.6R (64-bit). ⋯ Research on virtual reality (VR) technology and rehabilitation robot technology is popular, and the choice of time and intensity of rehabilitation exercises, patients' participation in rehabilitation exercises, and care are also worth attention. In the last 10 years, research on telerehabilitation technology in the field of rehabilitation for stroke survivors has steadily developed, and is characterized by multidisciplinary joint development. Countries around the world can combine their own characteristics and advantages, strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation with mature research institutions or authors, and explore suitable poststroke remote rehabilitation technologies and service models in different environments.

The largest and heaviest giant juvenile fibroadenoma of the breast in the Chinese population: A case report.
Fibroadenoma is the most common benign tumor of the breast, but giant juvenile fibroadenoma exceeding 20 cm is much rare. This report presents the largest and heaviest giant juvenile fibroadenoma in an 18-year-old Chinese girl. ⋯ Currently, there is a lack of clear guidelines regarding the diagnostic and treatment modalities for a giant juvenile fibroadenoma. The principle of surgical choice is to balance aesthetics and function preservation.
