Vertigo is a well-known presenting complaint common in the main care offices as well as departments. It is also regarded as a symptom of vestibular dysfunction and has been expressed as a feeling of motion, specifically rotational motion. As patients grow older, vertigo also becomes a commonly presenting complaint. The current study will carry out a widespread systematic review to estimate clinical therapeutic effects of gastrodin in combination with betahistine on vertigo. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/HQTZA (https://osf.io/hqtza/).

Association between the nurse-led program with mental health status, quality of life, and heart failure rehospitalization in chronic heart failure patients.
The nurse-led program is associated with a short-term improvement of mental health status (MHS) and quality of life (QOL) in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Nonetheless, the long-term effect of this program is undetermined. The aims of the current study were to evaluate the 1-year effects of the nurse-led program on MHS, QOL, and heart failure (HF) rehospitalization among patients with CHF. ⋯ During 12 months' follow-up, the proportion of patients who experienced HF rehospitalization was lower in the treatment group (19.6% vs 24.1%). After adjusting for covariates, the utilization of the nurse-led program, and increase of MHI-5 and KCCQ scores were associated with reduced risk of HF rehospitalization. The nurse-led program is beneficial for the improvement of MHS and QOL for CHF patients, which might contribute to the reduction of HF rehospitalization.

Poststroke dyskinesia is the most common clinical symptom after stroke, which greatly affects the patients' daily life. Eye-acupuncture is an effective method for stroke. And the rehabilitation training has been widely used for patients suffer from stroke. However, whether eye-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training has greater clinical efficacy for poststroke dyskinesia is still unknown. Our aim in this systematic review was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of eye-acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training (EACRT) as a treatment for dyskinesia after stroke. ⋯ CRD42020168278.

Parkinson disease (PD) is an Extrapyramidal Disease mainly characterized by static tremor, myotonia, bradykinesia and postural gait disorder. As China's population ages, the number of people suffering from PD is increasing. Since there are many side effects of western medicine for Parkinson's patients, and the high price of the drugs make it difficult for many patients to adhere to treat. At present, many clinical studies have shown that electroacupuncture is effective in treating PD. Therefore, this systematic review aims to explore the effectiveness and safety of electroacupuncture in the treatment of PD. ⋯ Ethical approval is not required for this paper, our plan will be published in the journal.

Antiemetics improve the tolerance of polyethylene glycol for colonoscopy preparation: A randomized clinical trial.
Bowel preparation is essential to the success of colonoscopy. However, many patients cannot finish the preparation due to nausea and vomiting when taking polyethylene glycol (PEG). Dopamine-2 receptor antagonists, such as domperidone and sulpiride, are classical antiemetic drugs. This study aimed to explore the effect of domperidone and sulpiride on reducing the discomforts associated with PEG. ⋯ Domperidone and sulpiride could reduce the PEG-related discomfort and improve the quality of bowel preparation. This method may be a promising way to improve the satisfaction of bowel preparation for both patients and endoscopists.
