AbstractChondrosarcoma represents the most common malignant tumour of the chest wall, with a tendency for local recurrence after resection. Here we report the successful complete resection of a giant, local recurrent chondrosarcoma of the chest wall (max. diameter 25 cm), in a patient with hereditary multiple exostoses, who had had a wide resection 8 years before. Clinical features and surgical management are described.Copyright Harcourt Publishers Limited.
