    AbstractAt the conclusion of this activity, the family physician should be able to: Describe the epidemiology of overweight and obesity in the United States. Describe the disease burden associated with being overweight (body mass index 25-30 kg/m2) and how to broach the topic of weight management with patients. Differentiate the safety and efficacy of 2 nonprocedural device treatments for people with overweight.
