AbstractThree cases of severe globe injuries due to scleral fragility in osteogenesis imperfecta patients between the ages of 4 and 15 years are reported. Patient 1 had complete loss of vision. Patients 2 and 3 suffered non-sight-threatening scleral perforation. All 3 patients had no previous knowledge of recommendation for eyewear protection.
