    AbstractEssentials Perioperative bleeding during prostate surgery is still a common morbidity. Anticoagulant and antiplatelet medications contribute to the risk of hemorrhage and prolonged hospital stay. Multiple pharmacological agents have been proposed, but none of them have been widely accepted. It is crucial to find a safe and effective modality to reduce hemorrhage.© 2016 International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
