    AbstractFrom its start in China in December 2019, infection by the new SARS-CoV2 spread fast all over the world. It can present as severe respiratory distress in the elderly or a vasculitis in a child, most of whom are typically completely asymptomatic. This makes infection detection based on clinical grounds exceedingly difficult. Lung ultrasound has become an important tool in diagnosis and follow-up of patient with COVID-19 infection.Here we review available, up to date literature on ultrasound use for COVID-19 suspected pediatric patients and contrast it to published findings in adult patients.© 2020 American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
