AbstractBiological disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs have significantly improved outcomes for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, but cost limits their use. This article assesses data on patients who have achieved remission or low disease activity with these drugs and the possibility of dose reduction or discontinuation in these patients.
