AbstractIn aqueous solutions dithylinum decomposes with formation iodine, choline, succinic acid and its monoether. The rate of decomposition depends on the conditions of storage, and also upon the concentration and ion force of solution, existence of ion metals and some other factors. The article proposes methods for identification and quantitative analysis of dithylinum and the products of its hydrolysis. The requirements imposed for storage or transportation of dithylinum solutions: not frost and temperature level not higher than 5 degrees C.
