AbstractSevere community-acquired pneumonia implies the necessity of its early differential diagnostics from a wide range of nosological forms requiring not only therapeutic but also surgical treatment. The authors consider the causes of hypodiagnostics of community-acquired pneumonia and illustrate difficulties of differential diagnosis of this condition by concrete examples.
