AbstractAltogether 37 patients suffering from influenza and acute respiratory viral infections were examined. In 25 patients, acute infections ran their course in association with coronary heart disease. According to the ECG readings, 15% of the patients had rhythm and conduction disorders. Meanwhile Holter ECG monitoring revealed the above disorders in 70% of the patients afflicted with influenza and acute respiratory viral infections.
