AbstractEvidence suggests that heavy drinking among women is increasing but few services have managed to target them successfully. This paper describes the work of a weekly drop-in session for women with alcohol and drug problems run by Riverside Mental Health NHS Trust, London, which attracts up to 23 clients at each session.
