    AbstractScapular fractures are uncommon and among them acromial fractures are even more uncommon. Because the vast majority of acromial fractures are either non-displaced or minimally displaced, symptomatic and nonoperative management was performed. We describe a case of avulsion fracture of the acromial physis displaced by acromioclavicular ligament treated with open reduction and internal fixation, and include a review of the literature.
