BackgroundIntracapsular hip fractures occur frequently, and most of them need operation. But current femoral head removal instruments used in the operation have many disadvantages. We optimized them.MethodsWe added a sleeve to the cork screw to strengthen the torque created by it. A scale is also added to the joint of the sleeve and the cork screw, which can be used to measure the depth of insertion.DiscussionThe optimized instrument decreased the risk and saved the time of operation.
