AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted different ethical dilemmas inday-to-day patient care. We analyzed the crisis caused by the pandemic and evaluate general aspects of ethical analysis in clinical practice and the context of the health crisis. In addition, we review some relevant ethical aspects related to the proportionality of the implemented measures, the palliative care management, and the challenges generated due to the lack of resources and professional duties, in relation to patients infected with COVID-19 and those chronic patients whose outpatient control is delayed.
