AbstractPulmonary vein stenosis is a known complication of radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation foci. We report a case of severe unilateral pulmonary vein stenosis following radiofrequency ablation resulting in no perfusion to the right lung. Simple balloon dilation was unsuccessful in this patient. Stent placement in the stenotic right pulmonary veins resulted in reperfusion of the lung as documented by follow-up lung scan at one year.
