AbstractA 34-year-old male with intrathoracic lipoma arising from the chest wall is described. Although asymptomatic, the patient was pointed out an abnormal shadow on the chest X-ray film taken at the mass survey. No findings of CT suggested lipoma. The tumor, measuring 2.5 x 2.0 x 1.5 cm in diameter, was surgically removed, and the diagnosis of lipoma was confirmed postoperatively by histopathologic examination.
