AbstractA case of dapsone-induced severe haemolytic anaemia and agranulocytosis is described. A possible common pathogenic mechanism for the simultaneous occurrence of these side effects of dapsone therapy in a patient with normal glucose-6-phosphate-dehydrogenase activity is proposed.
