    Abstract"Rules for forensic medical determination of the severity of bodily injures" currently used in practical expertise are at some variance with the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. Their analysis taking into account the available clinical reports and the results of our original studies of archive materials made it possible to propose and substantiate additional criteria for the assessment of harm to the human health from thermal injuries.
