    AbstractThis article describes an alternative method for mandibular reconstruction following tumour ablation. We report a case with a wide anterior oromandibular defect, involving soft and bony tissues, which was reconstructed using horizontal sliding osteotomies and an osteocutaneous forearm free flap.
