AbstractSymmetric areas of erythema and induration developed on the cheeks of a 17-day-old black girl after ice packs were applied to her face for treatment of supraventricular tachycardia. To our knowledge, this is the first report of cold panniculitis caused by treatment of a cardiac arrhythmia with ice packs.
