    [Lighter accidents. Burns caused by lighter explosions].

    AbstractAttention is drawn to the danger of gas lighters. Four cases of burns caused by lighters are reported, two of these were due to lighter explosions. In Denmark, safety regulations concerning gas lighters are only recommended. The manufacturers and importers can decide whether or not requirements are adhered to.
