AbstractIn lymphoproliferative disorders, primary involvement of the peripheral nerve is rare. This report describes a very rare case of a solitary extranodal T-cell lymphoma of the sciatic nerve. Magnetic resonance imaging and gallium scintigraphy were useful for the identification of the lesion of the sciatic nerve. The histological analysis of an open-biopsy specimen disclosed a T-cell lymphoma (non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, lymphoblastic type). Radiotherapy and chemotherapy resulted in a partial regression of the disease.
