AbstractA tropical doctor reviewed a female Malawian neonate with a vesicular rash and linear hyperpigmentation that followed the lines of Blaschko. This distribution is typical for incontinentia pigmenti, a congenital X-linked dermatosis, which usually resolves spontaneously in adolescence.
