AbstractSimple, portable, manageable ventilators have been successfully designed to ensure a patient's ventilation in situ, which means to maintain a patient's respiratory functions at the place where he/she suffers his/her respiratory crisis and during his/her trip to an appropriate medical center. These ventilators are also useful as an at home respiratory support mechanism for those who suffer from chronic respiratory deficiencies caused by various etiologies.
