AbstractA 38-year-old man presented with low back pain and sciatica on the left side. Magnetic resonance imaging showed spinal nerve root herniation into a pseudomeningocele associated with lumbar spondylolysis. After closure of the dural defect, the sciatic pain was relieved and subsequently the patient was able to return to work.
