AbstractHeart rate variability (HRV) decreased soon after coronary artery bypass grafting and returned to the preoperative level within 2 months; however, HRV did not exceed the preoperative level, even 6 months after coronary artery bypass grafting. Although myocardial ischemia can be improved by coronary artery bypass grafting, HRV did not benefit from coronary artery bypass grafting within 6 months.
