AbstractMusculoskeletal disorders can be examined by conventional radiography, nuclear bone scan, computerized tomography, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging. The potentials and limitations of each method determine the individual application, depending whether the etiology, the extension or the follow-up of a bony lesion is evaluated.
