    Abstract(1) Negative response to acetazolamide challenge test using Xe-CT is a reliable indicator for identifying the hemodynamic compromise. (2) The hemodynamic compromise may be a cause of TIAs in some patients with chronic cerebrovascular occlusive diseases. (3) The brain suffering from hemodynamic compromise actively works to induce collateral blood channels.
