    AbstractThis study analyzes all deaths occurring in the US using the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Wide-Ranging Online Data for Epidemiologic Research database from 1999-2019 and the National Center for Health Statistics Urban-Rural Classification Scheme to create population categories per the 2013 US Census classification (large, small- or medium-sized, and rural areas).
