    AbstractVaricose vein management presents an exciting opportunity for the expansion of the interventional components of many practices. Although vein practice development has been addressed by other specialists, concerns unique to radiologists have only lately become important. Radiology groups are well suited to support the addition of this service line, and it may serve as a showcase for further clinical growth. Success depends on appropriate business planning, clinical and administrative infrastructure, and intelligent marketing. This article describes requisites for the successful development of a phlebology practice by a radiology group.
