AbstractThe aim of optimizing drug therapy for an individual patient is to maximize the likelihood of a desired therapeutic effect and to minimize the likelihood of toxicity. The excellent correlations between renal function and carboplatin total body clearance and between carboplatin area under the plasma concentration by time curve and thrombocytopenia allow calculation by Chatelut formula of carboplatin dosage.
