AbstractCytomegalovirus-associated transverse myelitis (TM) is rare in immunocompetent patients. We report here the case of a 24-year-old woman who developed acute transverse myelitis with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) findings, suggesting a central nervous system (CNS) infection, and a positive CMV serology.
