AbstractPollution of occupational and atmospheric air could be evaluated by means of bioindicators, such as human hair. There was developed a system of biomonitoring tested in various cities of the country. Basic principles of the changes in trace elemental structure of workers' hair at different production plants and the hair of the population living near pollution sources were determined.
