AbstractAllen-Masters syndrome, first described at 1955, is considered an uncommon etiology for chronic pelvic pain. The syndrome associates traumatic delivery to lacerations found on the posterior leaf of the broad Ligament. The authors report the clinical and laparoscopic findings of a female patient who was admitted to their department for evaluation due to chronic pelvic pain. The patient had a history of normal delivery six months before her admission. In the laparoscopy the authors reported finding bilateral Lacerations in the posterior leaf of the broad Ligament. Coagulation of both lacerations was performed and the patient reported significant improvement in her complaints. The relevant literature was reviewed and the article discusses the process of diagnosis and treatment.
