AbstractThis article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy). The editors have decided to retract the article based on the lack of ethical standard care interventions that should have been administered to the control group during planned blood collection. That standard of care includes known, evidence-based interventions such as massage, kangaroo care, listening to music, non-nutritive sucking/pacifier, and wrapping.Copyright © 2021 Elsevier Ltd.
