AbstractIn this case report, a 70-year-old male was admitted to the hospital with respiratory tract symptoms and a fever, and he was isolated, suspected of COVID-19. A chest radiograph showed bilateral consolidations, and subsequent chest CT scan revealed bilateral and peripheral ground glass opacities, which are the most common radiological manifestations of COVID-19. The characteristic radiological findings can be exploited in the diagnosis of COVID-19, and radiologists should have knowledge of the usual manifestations of COVID-19, as they may play a role in early detection and diagnosis of the disease.
