AbstractDyspnea and reduced physical capability mean a significant reduction in quality of life of patients with advanced tumor disease. Video-assisted thoracoscopic talc poudrage or alternatively placement of pleuroperitoneal shunts were retrospectively evaluated as procedures for definitive palliation.
