AbstractUreteral and bladder outlet obstruction are well-known sequelae of adenocarcinoma of the prostate. Contiguous extension of prostate cancer locally to involve the rectum is an uncommon phenomenon. It has been suggested that this is because Denonvillier's fascia is an effective barrier to posterior extension of malignant prostatic neoplasms. Herein, we report a case of this unusual association as well as a review of the literature.
