AbstractMycetomas of the lungs are, as a rule, localized in the upper (62), medial (22) and very rarely (8) in the lower portions of the lungs. Most frequent localization is the right lung. Operations were fulfilled on 68 of 92 patients. Surgery was shown to be the most effective method of treatment of patients with lung mycetomas. It results in complete and clinical recovery.
