AbstractA 9-month-old child presented with frequent crying and delayed developmental milestones. Computed tomography of the skull showed chronic subdural hematoma caused by playing with a rattle toy. Conservative treatment was decided with good results. The main differential diagnosis in these traumatic brain injuries is abuse, although in these cases subdural hematomas are usually multiple and have specific locations.Copyright © 2021 Elsevier Inc.
