    AbstractObstructive sleep apnea (OSA), daytime hypoxemia, and hypercapnia complicate obesity and are alleviated by weight loss. The flow-volume curve is a sensitive screening tool for most patients; the curve can monitor therapeutic efficacy of weight reduction.
