AbstractThis is a case of a 6-year-old child who had a laryngeal foreign body, which was obstructing his airway. The object was large and dense, and traditional methods of removal had failed. After lifting the child upside down by his feet, the heavy foreign body was removed using a laryngoscope and finger sweep. Foreign body removal can be challenging, and this is a simple method that a practitioner may be able to use in a difficult case.
