AbstractPatients suffering from the mucopolysaccharidoses, most commonly Hurler's syndrome, present special problems in anaesthesia. A retrospective review of the anaesthetic management of such patients over fifteen years revealed a high incidence of airway problems. Two case histories illustrating these difficulties are presented.
