AbstractAn online "issues in nursing" course was developed over the summer 2000 and subsequently implemented over a 4-semester time period in an RN-BSN program. Student and faculty anecdotal evaluation records were compiled and reviewed to determine universal needs and concerns associated with online learning for this particular population. Seven themes emerged from student course evaluation data and 5 "factors for faculty consideration" were identified by the course facilitator.
