Abstract▼Naloxegol (Moventig-AstraZeneca) is a peripherally acting mu-opioid receptor antagonist licensed for the treatment of opioid-induced constipation in adults who have had an inadequate response to laxative treatment. It was launched in the United Kingdom in October 2015. Here, we review the evidence for naloxegol and consider its place in the management of opioid-induced constipation.Published by the BMJ Publishing Group Limited.
